Donald Trump met with cheers and boos at NFL game
Washington, November 10 (Hibya) – U.S. President Donald Trump became the first sitting president in nearly half a century to attend a regular-season NFL game, receiving cheers at first and then boos during halftime.
On Sunday, President Donald Trump attended the Washington Commanders–Detroit Lions game, making him the first sitting U.S. president in about 50 years to attend a regular-season NFL matchup.
When shown on the stadium’s video board, he was briefly greeted with applause, but was later booed while speaking during a military ceremony at halftime.
Continuing his pattern of attending major sporting events such as the Ryder Cup and the U.S. Open, Trump watched the game alongside House Speaker Mike Johnson.
