Lahbib: Hurricane Melissa left a deep scar in the Caribbean
Brussels, November 10 (Hibya) – European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that Hurricane Melissa left a deep scar in the Caribbean.
EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib noted that Hurricane Melissa had a devastating impact across the Caribbean.
In her statement, Lahbib said: “The EU stands by all those affected and is adding €1.25 million in emergency aid to support relief efforts in Jamaica and Cuba.”
