EP President Metsola expresses support for Bulgaria’s transition to the euro
Brussels, 19 November (Hibya) – European Parliament President Roberta Metsola met with the Speaker of the Bulgarian National Assembly, Raya Nazaryan, at the European Parliament.
Metsola stated that following Bulgaria’s successful accession to the Schengen Area, it is encouraging to see the country ready to adopt the euro currency as of 1 January.
She added that she held a friendly meeting with Nazaryan and emphasized her appreciation for Bulgaria’s determination in the European integration process.
