Brussels, October 22 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen welcomed Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Brussels.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen welcomed Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Brussels.
Von der Leyen stated that the EU–Egypt Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership Agreement, signed last year, continues to deliver tangible results. The agreement foresees Egypt’s participation in the Horizon Europe program to support its reform agenda and includes €5 billion in macro-financial assistance.
