EU Commissioner Lahbib: The ceasefire is fragile
Brussels, October 20 (Hibya) – European Union Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that the ceasefire is fragile and that aid must urgently reach Gaza on a large scale.
EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Lahbib said she made it clear to all 27 ministers at the Foreign Affairs Council that the ceasefire is fragile.
Lahbib added, “All border crossings must be reopened. The NGO registration process is the biggest obstacle to delivering aid. The EU Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid must be allowed to return to Gaza.”
