German Chancellor Merz: We will resolutely fight against antisemitism
Berlin, September 15 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that they are taking a clear stance against the rising wave of antisemitism in the country.
In his statement, Merz said: “We are witnessing a new wave of antisemitism in our country. On behalf of the Federal Government and personally, we declare the fight against this antisemitism. We will never tolerate it – not under the guise of so-called freedom of art, culture, or science.”
Chancellor Merz emphasized that the fight against antisemitism is not only a political responsibility but also a societal one.
