Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Israeli President Isaac Herzog visited the National Institute of Forensic Medicine in Abu Kabir at the invitation of the Director General of the Ministry of Health, Moshe Bar Siman Tov, and met with the staff.

Explaining the purpose of the visit and the importance of the institute, Herzog said: “This morning, we visited the National Institute of Forensic Medicine in Abu Kabir, which for many years has carried out, with dedication and professionalism, the sacred task of identifying the deceased and victims and verifying legal facts. From the very first hours of the October 7 disaster, the institute’s staff faced an unprecedented workload and challenges, working day and night to dispel the unbearable doubts of thousands of families, identify the victims, and care for the bodies.”

Emphasizing the institute’s achievements, Herzog stated: “Combining exceptional professionalism and sensitivity with advanced capabilities, the institute’s staff succeeded in identifying 100 percent of the victims, including those who were abducted and those brought back to us. For all this and more, the institute and its staff have earned a globally recognized professional reputation.”

Expressing his gratitude to the staff, Herzog concluded: “We sincerely thanked all employees for their sacred work and recalled how the heart of the entire nation is stirred with emotion at every identification of our abducted brothers who were returned to us from Gaza.”
