Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjarto met with Ivan
Budapest, November 25 (Hibya) – Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto met with Romania’s Minister of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism Bogdan Ivan, and the two agreed to work together to extend the lifespan of nuclear power plants.

Szijjarto stated that they agreed to work together on extending the operational lifespan of nuclear power plants, noting that Romania is a strategic partner for Hungary’s energy security.
He also added that since November, the gas interconnection capacity between the two countries has been increased to 2.7 billion cubic meters.
