IDF: Unit 33, IDF and Shin Bet arrested the suspect in the armed attack
Jerusalem, May 8 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that the Israel Police’s Gideonim Unit (Unit 33), the IDF and Shin Bet (Internal Security Service) arrested the suspect in the armed attack near the Reihan Crossing yesterday.
According to an IDF statement, following a short pursuit operation, the Israel Police’s Gideonim Unit (Unit 33), the IDF and Shin Bet arrested the suspect in the armed attack that took place yesterday near the Reihan Crossing.
Guided by Shin Bet intelligence, the Gideonim Unit and IDF’s Menashe Brigade troops captured the suspect last night in the village of Bartaa, in connection with the attack that severely injured two Israeli soldiers near the Reihan Crossing. Thanks to precise intelligence provided by Shin Bet, the suspect’s home was surrounded during the operation. Eventually, the suspect surrendered and was taken into custody by the security forces.
