Iran Condemns Ongoing U.S. Airstrikes on Yemen
Tehran, April 28 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei strongly condemned the U.S. airstrikes on various regions of Yemen, including the African migrant camp in Saada province, which resulted in the death and injury of over 100 innocent people.
Baghaei stated that the United States continues to target civilian sites, critical infrastructure, and people's homes across Yemen, leading to the killing of hundreds of innocent individuals, and described it as a war crime.
He harshly criticized the silence and indifference of the UN and human rights organizations toward these blatant violations of Yemen’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Referring to Israel’s ongoing genocide in the occupied Palestinian territories and its aggression against Lebanon, Baghaei asserted that the U.S. military assault on Yemen is part of the Israeli regime’s sinister plan to destroy and weaken Muslim countries and destabilize the entire West Asia region.
