Iran condemns US military attacks on Yemen's port infrastructure
Tehran, April 18 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei strongly condemned the US airstrike on Yemen's Ras Isa port, which resulted in dozens of Yemeni civilians being killed or injured and the destruction of the port.
Baghaei described the US airstrikes on Yemen as a clear example of aggressive crimes and a blatant violation of the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and international law.
He emphasized that by fully supporting Israel's occupation and genocide in Palestine, the US has made itself an accomplice to Israel's crimes in Palestine and the region.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman expressed condolences to the people and government of Yemen for the martyrdom of their citizens and reiterated the Islamic Republic of Iran's solidarity with the resilient people of Yemen.
Baghaei called on the international community to end its inaction and silence in the face of the grave violations of international law and human rights committed by the US against the people of Yemen.
