Zelensky: Following the Russian missile attack, intervention operations in Kharkiv are ongoing
Kiev, April 18 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that emergency intervention operations are still ongoing in Kharkiv after the Russian missile attack.
President Zelensky noted that preliminary reports show that cruise missiles were used in the attacks. "One of the missiles exploded in the air above a residential area; the other hit an industrial zone near a residential area. As a result of the attack, ordinary apartment buildings were damaged, and over a hundred people were injured. All they did was live their lives in their own country, in their own cities - and this makes them a target for Russia and its missiles," Zelensky said.
Zelensky added that to carry out such missile attacks on the Friday before Easter, one must be a villain and hate life: "There should never be a situation where one nation is more deserving of help than another. There should never be a situation where a terrorist, despite ruining the lives of others, can somehow escape the consequences. Russia deserves, at the very least, severe sanctions for everything it has done."
