Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi held phone call with IAEA Director General Grossi
Tehran, April 23 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyid Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Before his official visit to China, Foreign Minister Araghchi spoke on the phone with IAEA Director General Grossi, who was in Washington.
During the call, Araghchi emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran’s goodwill and seriousness in pursuing diplomacy. He then briefed Grossi on the latest developments in the ongoing indirect talks with the United States.
Grossi, for his part, expressed appreciation for Iran’s responsible approach and reiterated the agency’s readiness to provide all necessary support in line with its duties and authority under the IAEA Charter.
