Albanese: Massive renewable energy project in Collie nearly completed
Canberra, April 23 (Hibya) – Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced that the massive renewable energy project in Collie is nearly finished.
Albanese stated that the system will have the capacity to store energy for 800,000 households.
He criticized opposition leader Peter Dutton’s proposal to build a nuclear reactor in the same region, saying:
"This is exactly what the Labor Party is doing: delivering clean and affordable energy to reduce power bills right now. Peter Dutton, on the other hand, wants to build a nuclear reactor here – which would raise energy prices and take 20 years to build. We're not waiting decades. We're acting now to provide affordable, clean energy."
