According to a statement from the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, spokesman Esmail Baghaei strongly condemned the attacks in Gaza and Lebanon.

The statement read:

"Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei strongly condemned the aggressive and terrorist actions carried out by the Zionist regime in Gaza and Lebanon. He stated that the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip and the intensive attacks on refugee camps and temporary shelters by the occupying Zionist regime are clear examples of war crimes and crimes against humanity. Baghaei called on regional countries to take serious measures to prevent the spread of insecurity and to confront the expansionism of the apartheid regime."
