Israel and Bolivia to resume diplomatic relations
Jerusalem, October 20 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar held a phone conversation with Bolivia’s newly elected President Rodrigo Paz.
During the call, Saar congratulated Paz on his “impressive victory” in the elections. Referring to the historical ties between Israel and Bolivia, he stated: “It is time to put relations between the two countries, which have not been good for the past twenty years, back on the right track.”
In the conversation, both leaders expressed a mutual willingness to open a new chapter in relations and restore diplomatic ties between Israel and Bolivia. Saar also emphasized that cooperation between the two countries holds great potential in various fields.
Additionally, Foreign Minister Saar announced that, at the invitation of President Paz, Israel will send an official representative to the inauguration ceremony.
