Israel reacts to the attack on the Jewish memorial in Lyon
Jerusalem, August 31 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar condemned the vandalism of the Shoah (Holocaust) Memorial in Lyon, France, calling for a stronger stance against the rise of antisemitism.
Saar criticized the accusation against US Ambassador to France Charles Kushner of "interfering in internal affairs" after he raised concerns about antisemitism, stating: “France must take action against this situation.”
Minister Saar stressed the importance of international awareness against antisemitism, noting that such attacks target not only the Jewish community but also democratic values.
