Malta, December 15 (Hibya) – Israel’s youth weightlifting team secured first place in the overall team standings at the Junior Open Weightlifting Championship held in Malta.

In the individual events, the “strongest athlete” title in the U20 category was won with a gold medal. A silver medal was claimed in the U15 pairs category, while in the U20 women’s category the “strongest athlete” title was earned with a bronze medal.
