Defense Minister Katz said he instructed the army to convey a clear message to Hamas leaders in Gaza through the American monitoring mechanism, stating: “Every Hamas militant located beyond the yellow line in the area under Israeli control must leave the region immediately.”

Katz emphasized that anyone remaining in the area would be considered a target without further warning and that Hamas leaders would bear full responsibility for any consequences.

“This directive is intended to ensure that IDF forces can act freely and immediately against any threat. The protection of IDF soldiers is our top priority, and we will take all necessary steps to ensure it,” Katz added.
