Katz stated that the IDF is carrying out operations in Gaza with great force, saying: “I have instructed the IDF to proceed toward all objectives, regardless of any negotiation process.”

“I have ordered the IDF to continue advancing toward all objectives, regardless of any talks, and to use all necessary means — from air, land, and sea — to protect Israeli soldiers and to eliminate and crush Hamas operatives,” Katz said.

He added: “Anyone who attacked us and fought against us will pay the full price. As I’ve said before: either Hamas releases the hostages, or it will be destroyed.”
