Lahbib: This is the second attack in this region in two months
Brussels, August 21 (Hibya) – The European Union Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, reported that yesterday in North Darfur a World Food Programme convoy carrying food to hunger-stricken communities was struck by a drone.
The EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, stated in her remarks that yesterday in North Darfur a World Food Programme convoy transporting food to starving communities was hit by a drone.
Lahbib noted that this is the second attack in this region in two months, adding: “This must stop.”
