UNICEF Executive Director Russel met with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya
New York, August 21 (Hibya) – UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russel met with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya.
UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russel stated that she was honored to meet with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya and to thank Japan for its continuous support of UNICEF’s work.
Following the meeting, Russel said: “UNICEF is grateful for Japan’s long-standing support for vulnerable children in Africa and beyond, and for its contribution to a more stable and secure world.”
