Leyen: A strong Europe is only possible with a strong Ukraine
Brussels, 17 November (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said, following her meeting with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, that a strong Europe is only possible with a strong Ukraine.
European Commission President Leyen held a meeting with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
Thanking Stubb for his continuous and devoted support to Ukraine, Leyen said: “We agree that during this critical winter period, Ukraine must receive strong financial and military support.”
Leyen also emphasized the importance of strengthening Europe’s own defense capacity, stating that a strong Europe is possible only with a strong Ukraine.
