Istanbul, April 15 (Hibya) – Indices in global markets generally showed limited declines and a mixed performance.

In the United States, the Dow Jones (US 30) index fell 0.04 percent to 48,518 points, while the S&P 500 index traded at 6,966 with a 0.02 percent decline. The Nasdaq 100 (US Tech 100) index also lost 0.03 percent, while the Russell 2000 index fell 0.14 percent.
The VIX index, which reflects market volatility, also declined 0.73 percent to 20.33.
In Europe, Germany’s DAX index fell 0.23 percent, while the UK’s FTSE 100 index posted a 0.20 percent decline. The Euro Stoxx 50 index also slipped 0.13 percent.
On the other hand, France’s CAC 40 index rose 1.10 percent, while Italy’s FTSE MIB index stood out positively with a 1.39 percent gain.
Thus, the overall picture in global markets was marked by a mixed trend with limited losses and regional divergence.
