Lipavsky: Our assistance to Ukraine will continue
Prague, 19 November (Hibya) – Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky condemned the Russian attack on the Ukrainian city of Ternopil, stressing that his country will continue supporting Ukraine.
Lipavsky recalled visiting Ternopil this summer, saying: “Putin claimed more lives today in Ukraine’s Ternopil. I visited this city last summer.”
He noted that the Czech Republic is providing humanitarian aid to the region: “Czechia is sending medical equipment, school buses for local children, and temporary accommodation for refugees.”
Highlighting the need not to back down in the face of Russian aggression, Lipavsky added: “We will continue to help, because evil must not be tolerated.”
