Washington, July 27 (Hibya) – U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick stated that President Trump opened the way for one of the world’s largest economies.
Secretary Lutnick said in his statement that President Trump opened the way for one of the world’s largest economies.
Lutnick stated, "The European Union will open its $20 trillion market and will fully accept our automotive and industrial standards for the first time. It will also purchase $750 billion worth of energy from us and invest $600 billion in America."
He added that tariffs will generally be set at 15 percent, saying, "Today is a historic day for U.S. trade and will strengthen our relations with the European Union for decades to come."
