Luxon discusses trade relations with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince
Wellington, October 31 (Hibya) – New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit held in South Korea.
Luxon said that the meeting focused on strengthening trade and enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries. He noted that the government’s focus on trade had led to a significant increase in trade volume with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Luxon stated that the trade agreement he signed in Abu Dhabi in January with Trade Minister Todd McClay had delivered tangible benefits for New Zealand exporters.
The Prime Minister emphasized that implementing trade agreements is one of the key elements of the government’s economic plan aimed at developing global trade relations, boosting growth, employment, and income.
