Macron spoke with UK Prime Minister Starmer and Ukrainian President Zelensky
Paris, March 14 (Hibya) - French President Emmanuel Macron held a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
French President Macron spoke with Ukrainian President Zelensky following progress made in the meeting between the US and Ukraine in Jeddah and then talked with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Macron stated that Russia must now accept the 30-day ceasefire proposal from the US and Ukraine, saying, "Russian aggression in Ukraine must end. Atrocities must stop. Delaying statements must also come to an end."
Macron added: "Tomorrow, we will continue working with Prime Minister Starmer, President Zelensky, and all our partners in a video conference to strengthen support for Ukraine and achieve a solid and lasting peace."
