Macron: We are writing a new page in our friendship with Mexico
Mexico City, November 8 (Hibya) – French President Emmanuel Macron met with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum during his visit to Mexico.
In a post on social media, Macron wrote: “Dear President Claudia Sheinbaum, thank you for the warm welcome in Mexico. Mexico is a friend and a strategic partner of France.”
He recalled that it has been 61 years since General Charles de Gaulle’s visit to Mexico, adding: “We continue to write a new chapter in our long and rich shared history.”
