Pakistan and China hold 6th Strategic Dialogue
Islamabad, August 21 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi discussed bilateral relations and regional developments at the Strategic Dialogue meeting held in Islamabad.
According to a statement from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Dar and China’s Foreign Minister Yi held the 6th round of the Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue today in Islamabad.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed all dimensions of Pakistan-China relations; there was a comprehensive exchange of views on issues such as CPEC 2.0, trade and economy, multilateral cooperation, and people-to-people ties.
Ishaq Dar and Wang Yi underlined the importance of the “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership” between the two countries, emphasizing that the Pakistan-China friendship is indispensable for maintaining regional peace and stability as well as for the progress and prosperity of the nations.
It was also agreed to continue close coordination and communication both bilaterally and on multilateral platforms.
