Pakistan's Foreign Minister Dar receives Ambassador to Germany Sharif
Islamabad, October 9 (Hibya) – Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Salman Sharif, who has been appointed Pakistan's Ambassador to Germany, and emphasized the importance of further strengthening relations between the two countries.
According to a statement from Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Salman Sharif, who has been appointed Pakistan's Ambassador to Germany, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Dar congratulated Sharif on his new appointment and highlighted the importance of further deepening Pakistan-Germany relations. He particularly emphasized the need to expand economic cooperation and promote trade and investment.
Dar stated that maintaining close engagement with the Pakistani diaspora in Germany, supporting the community's welfare, and providing effective consular services should be among the embassy's key priorities. He also appreciated Sharif's work in his previous position at the Prime Minister's Office.
Dar wished Sharif success in his new assignment.
