Palestine: Israel’s unjust deductions from tax revenues are alarming
Ramallah, April 8 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated that Israel’s unjust deductions from Palestinian tax revenues and the continued withholding of over 7 billion shekels belonging to the Palestinian people is a source of grave concern.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced that Israel’s unjust deductions from Palestinian tax revenues and the continued withholding of more than 7 billion shekels of Palestinian public funds is deeply alarming.
The ministry's statement read: "These deductions are viewed as part of the genocide, forced displacement, and annexation policies against the Palestinian people, and as an effort by the occupation to weaken the Palestinian National Authority, the institutional representative of the State of Palestine on its legal territory. This is a clear violation of international legitimacy resolutions."
