Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes FAO decision
Ramallah, April 9 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the adoption of a decision by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed satisfaction with the FAO’s decision on the Gaza Strip, which was adopted today at the organization’s headquarters in Rome as part of the FAO Council meetings held from April 7 to 11, 2025.
In the Ministry’s statement, it was noted: “The decision renews support for medium- and long-term action plans aimed at rebuilding and restoring food and agricultural systems in Gaza. These plans emphasize the importance of reconstructing damaged infrastructure, strengthening local production, and enhancing resilience — all of which are vital for ensuring a dignified future for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.”
