Pezeshkian: Iranian women can reach the top of the world when given opportunity and trust
Tehran, October 2 (Hibya) - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian highlighted the 45 medals won by Iran at the 2026 Asian Games and emphasized the importance of the achievements of female athletes.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the 45 medals won by Iran at the 2026 Asian Games demonstrate the potential of the country’s youth.
Drawing attention to the achievements of female athletes, Pezeshkian said, “The three gold medals won by our girls in rowing and taekwondo, two Olympic disciplines, once again showed that Iranian women can reach the top of the world when given opportunity, planning and trust.”
Pezeshkian noted that the 45 medals won at the 2026 Asian Games are an indication of the talent of Iranian youth.
