New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon emphasized the contribution of the meat sector to the national economy. Speaking at the Meat Industry Association reception in Wellington, Luxon said that New Zealand meat is the best in the world.

He noted that selling meat and other local products in global markets strengthens the country’s economy, adding that the National Party is actively working in international markets for this purpose.

In his speech, Luxon also gave special thanks to farmers: “This evening, we celebrated everything our farmers do for New Zealand,” he said.
