Qatar calls for dialogue and restraint between Pakistan and Afghanistan
Doha, October 12 (Hibya) – The State of Qatar expressed concern over the escalation and tension in the border areas between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Afghanistan, and the possible consequences for the region’s security and stability.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on both sides to prioritize dialogue, diplomacy, and restraint, and to manage their differences in a way that reduces tensions and prevents escalation, thereby promoting regional security and stability.
The ministry reiterated Qatar’s support for all regional and international efforts aimed at strengthening international peace and security, and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the peoples of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
