According to a statement from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar’s Prime Minister’s Advisor and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, announced that Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Sani hosted a meeting between President of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmed Al Şaraa and Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Mohammed Shiya al-Sudani in Doha.

The statement said: “This meeting reflects the State of Qatar’s determination to strengthen Arab brotherhood and to strengthen the joint Arab movement as a fundamental element for the security, stability, and advancement of the region. This also serves to meet the expectations of the people. Dr. Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, in his statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), mentioned that the meeting took place in a positive atmosphere, with mutual understanding and closeness between the parties, and there was also a sincere desire to develop Arab cooperation in a way that serves the interests of the people of the region.”
