The meeting addressed key topics on the bilateral agenda as well as current international and regional developments. The parties exchanged views on cooperation within common integration structures and intergovernmental organizations across the Eurasian region.

To mark the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Lavrov and Nurtleu laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame at the Glory Memorial in the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen. The delegation also visited the State Military History Museum of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan.

The visit of the Russian Foreign Minister to Kazakhstan reflects the deep trust and close cooperation between Moscow and Astana and was carried out as part of preparations for bilateral events planned at the highest levels this year.
