Jerusalem, October 9 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar accused the Palestinian Authority of failing to hold elections and fulfill its reform commitments, claiming that it had misled the international community.
Israeli Foreign Minister Saar criticized the Palestinian Authority over its electoral process and reform commitments.
Saar stated that the Palestinian Authority had not held presidential elections since 2005 or legislative elections since 2006. He accused Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of once again canceling elections and misleading the international community.
Saar also criticized the Palestinian Authority's commitments to end a practice he described as "payments to prisoners and attackers" and to prevent education containing hateful content. He argued that these promises had not been fulfilled.
Saar accused the Palestinian Authority of failing to keep its promises, claiming that despite allegations of corruption, no consequences or sanctions had been imposed on its administration.
