Saar: We will continue to strengthen our relations with Singapore
Jerusalem, November 6 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met with Singapore’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan.
Foreign Minister Saar expressed his pleasure at hosting Singapore’s Foreign Minister Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan at the ministry during his visit to Israel.
He stated that they held an open discussion on the situation in the Middle East, Israel’s political and security challenges, and bilateral relations between the two countries, adding: “I thanked my colleague for Singapore’s decision in September not to recognize the ‘State of Palestine’ ahead of the UN General Assembly.”
Saar also noted that he informed about the return of the body of Tanzanian citizen Joshua Loitey Molal, who was kidnapped and killed as a hostage, to Israel last night, concluding: “We will continue to strengthen our relations with Singapore.”
