Saidov met with Spanish Senate First Vice President Maroto
Madrid, April 7 (Hibya) - Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bahtiyor Saidov met in Madrid with the First Vice President of the Spanish Senate, Javier Ignacio Maroto.
Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bahtiyor Saidov made a statement regarding his high-level contacts during his visit to Spain.
Providing details about the meeting, Saidov said: "We had a productive meeting in Madrid with the First Vice President of the Spanish Senate, Mr. Javier Ignacio Maroto".
Saidov stated: "We discussed issues related to strengthening interparliamentary dialogue and developing regular meetings between our legislative bodies".
Referring to areas of cooperation between the two countries, Saidov noted: "We also highlighted the significant potential, particularly in promoting economic diplomacy".
Regarding the future of relations, Minister Saidov said: "The partnership between our countries, based on a long shared history, will continue to strengthen in the spirit of mutual respect, trust, and shared values".
