Sandu: Moldova elected to UNESCO Executive Board
Chișinău, November 7 (Hibya) — Moldovan President Maia Sandu announced that Moldova has been elected to the UNESCO Executive Board.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu stated, “Moldova, with the strong support of member states, has been elected to the UNESCO Executive Board for the 2025–2029 term. Thank you for your trust.”
Sandu added that this mandate will be used to advance UNESCO’s mission, protect global cultural heritage, and promote education, cooperation, and peace.
