Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof noted that the official signing of the Gaza peace plan gives today’s summit in Sharm El-Sheikh profound symbolic importance.

He emphasized that all countries involved are determined to ensure the success of this plan, stating:

“The long-awaited day has come – a day we hope will mark the beginning of the end of all suffering. With the return of all surviving hostages, the transfer of the bodies of the deceased hostages, the release of Palestinian prisoners, and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the suffering people of Gaza, the first important steps toward a lasting and just peace have been taken.”
