Sybiha: Russia’s attacks struck civilian targets
Kyiv, 19 November (Hibya) – Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced that two civilian residential buildings in Ternopil were hit by Russia, resulting in the death of at least 10 people and injuring 48 others, including 12 children.
Sybiha emphasized that these buildings were not military targets but entirely civilian living areas.
He noted that Russia’s attacks across the country—from Kharkiv to Lviv—left dozens wounded and killed, damaging critical civilian infrastructure, particularly the energy system.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister said that Russia’s ongoing acts of terror require stronger diplomatic pressure on Moscow to force it toward a realistic peace plan, adding: “In this war, which Russia should not have started, cannot win, and refuses to end, sanctions, isolation, and accountability may finally compel Moscow to peace.”
