Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with UAE Minister of State Lana Nusseibeh on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

Expressing appreciation for the UAE’s leadership in peace efforts, Sybiha said: “I thanked the UAE for all its efforts to accelerate the peace process. Ukraine appreciates this and trusts the UAE’s active role.”

Referring to the challenges on the ground and the energy crisis in Ukraine, Sybiha added: “I provided detailed information about Russia’s ongoing and intense attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and shared our priority needs.”
