Szijjarto: We will take the RePowerEU plan to the EU Court of Justice
Budapest, 3 December (Hibya) – Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto announced that following the official adoption of the RePowerEU plan, aimed at strengthening the European Union’s energy independence, they will immediately take the plan to the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Minister Peter Szijjarto stated that after the official approval of the RePowerEU plan, Hungary will promptly submit the plan to the EU Court of Justice.
He added that the legal procedures will begin without delay and that all necessary preparations are already underway. Szijjarto noted: “We will do whatever is necessary to defend Hungary’s energy security.”
