Tajani: Former Italian Mayor Luigi Vagaggini has passed away
Rome, August 23 (Hibya) - Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced the death of Luigi Vagaggini, former mayor of Marciana dell’Elba and Piancastagnaio.
In a statement on social media, Tajani noted that Vagaggini had worked alongside him for many years in the European Parliament, saying: “He was an honest man, passionately devoted to his Tuscany. Forza Italia will always remember him.”
Tajani also added that Vagaggini’s faith would accompany him into eternity, offering his condolences with the words: “Rest in peace.”
