Tajani: Meloni fights every kind of mafia every day
Rome, April 7 (Hibya) - Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani emphasized Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s political background and her fight against the mafia.
Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani made remarks about Prime Minister Meloni’s motivation for entering politics and her character.
Referring to a critical moment at the beginning of Meloni's political career, Tajani said: "When a young woman decides to enter politics on the day Paolo Borsellino was killed, she is making the most important decision of her life. She fights every kind of mafia every day".
Highlighting his long-standing acquaintance with Prime Minister Meloni and his trust in her, Tajani concluded: "This is the Giorgia Meloni I have known since she was a young politician. And I stand by her when someone makes defamatory accusations".
