Tel Aviv residents take shelter in underground stations due to missile sirens
Jerusalem, March 6 (Hibya) - Residents of Tel Aviv, Israel, are spending their nights in underground metro stations due to sirens warning of missile attacks.
According to a report by CCTV, one of Tel Aviv’s largest light rail stations, which is normally crowded with passengers, has now turned into a temporary shelter for civilians seeking safety.
Before dawn on Thursday, sirens and loud explosion sounds were heard in Tel Aviv. The Israeli army stated that air defense systems were activated to intercept a missile attack coming from Iran.
