Trump to meet Syrian leader during visit to Saudi Arabia
Stockholm, April 2 (Hibya) – According to Israeli TV channel i24, citing a Syrian source, US President Donald Trump will meet Syrian leader Ahmed al-Shara during his visit to Saudi Arabia in mid-May.
The meeting is reportedly being arranged through the mediation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The channel stated: "US President Trump will meet Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara during his visit to Saudi Arabia in mid-May."
Earlier this week, the White House announced Trump's plans to visit Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries in May.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said: "The President will go to Saudi Arabia in May. As for specific dates and details, we will share them with you as soon as possible."
